Patrick S Cahill Solicitors is an Irish legal firm based in Dublin with international links.

The Firm enjoys the benefit of membership of the Association des Jeunes Avocats and maintains close relationships with a number of leading law firms throughout Europe, North America, Malaysia and Singapore. The Firm is also a member of the International Fiscal Association.

Services

The firm, established in 1984, advises on a wide range of sophisticated international commercial and property transactions. The firm also advises and assists in commercial contract negotiations and related tax structures.

At Patrick S Cahill Solicitors, we recognise the importance of timely and effective advice in assisting clients in achieving their objectives and implementing their business strategies. We offer our combination of legal and tax expertise with an awareness of the commercial and practical implications of those solutions.

Patrick Cahill holds law degrees from Trinity College Dublin and qualified as an associate of the Institute of Taxation in 1982. In 1995 Patrick was made a Fellow of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.

He is the co-author of the book "The Law of Stamp Duties" Published by the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, now in its tenth edition, "Stamp Duties for Business and Property" published by Thompson Roundhall and recently co-authored "VAT on Property - Made Simple" published by Bloomsbury Professional. He has lectured on tax and legal issues.
